Mixed Media: Watercolor and a Kid’s Camera!

I’ve had this kid’s camera kicking around for a while now, just reaching for it for random ideas. And, let me tell ya, it’s super handy when inspiration strikes.

How would it look to paint a wash of watercolor underneath a transparent sticker? Would it even stick? Would it look muddy?

I got too curious. I had to know….

So I applied a light wash of colors, let it dry, and popped on the sticker. IT WORKED.

Even the tester is cool and gave me soooo many ideas! My best friend’s birthday is coming up and definitely want to make this technique part of her gift 🙃
